Father-son Relationship in Changing China

Award-winning film director, LIANG Shan of Shanghai Film Studio, will give a guest lecture to Chinese 209 and CHIN300 students on the making of his films “Father” 《父亲》(Best director, Cairo International Film Festival 2003) and “Goshawn’s Bicycle” 《狗小的自行车》(Best Director, the 8th Chinese TV and Film Lily Awards). The lecture will discuss social changes in China’s economic development and their reflections and impact on family relationships. The lecture is given in Mandarin Chinese with live English caption.
