Please join the UIC School of Public Health Global Health Program for our monthly Global Health Speaker Series. This month, our speaker will be Kavi Bhalla, PhD, associate professor of epidemiology and global health in the department of public health sciences at the University of Chicago Biological Sciences. The topic of Dr. Bhalla’s talk will be “Improving Road Traffic Injury Statistics in Low- and Middle-Income Countries: Addressing Discrepancies Between Official Statistics and Global Statistical Models.” The event will be held in SPHPI Room 121; in-person capacity is limited. First-come, first-serve. There also will be a virtual viewing of the event. All are welcome to attend.
