Join the department of Black studies to celebrate the legacy of our department’s founder, Grace S. Holt. This year’s celebration will include the announcement of our 2022 Grace Holt Awards recipients as well as a panel on critical race theory moderated by Dr. Joseph Jewell, Head of UIC Black Studies. Panelists include:
- Sumi Cho, African American Policy Policy Forum
- Adrienne Dixson, Professor of Education Policy, Organization and Leadership at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign
- Marvin Lynn, Professor at Portland State University
- Dave Stovall, Professor of Black Studies and Criminology, Law & Justice at UIC
