The Urban Transportation Center of UIC’s College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs will present Hailing Uber While Wheeling, the third installment of its online seminar series, on April 11.
The presentation from noon to 1 p.m. will focus on research of trends and patterns regarding ride-share services from the perspective of wheelchair users. Featured speaker Mahtot Gebresselassie, assistant professor in the faculty of environmental and urban change at York University Toronto, will share insights from a survey of wheelchair users in the U.S. about their perceptions, experiences and preferences.
