Shiller will speak about her recently published memoir, “Daring to Struggle, Daring to Win” (Haymarket Books 2022) and reflect upon her many decades as a fighter and leader in the 46th Ward. The memoir draws upon her extensive archives chronicling peoples movements and the long histories of resistance urban renewal in Uptown and Chicago.
