Info Session: Spanish Culture Through Food, Language, Literature, and Art

Date / Time

February 8, 2022

4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Are you interested in making the most out of your major/minor in Spanish? Or are you looking to improve your Spanish-speaking skills by finishing your Spanish basic language requirements abroad? Then we have the study abroad program for you!

UIC faculty members Keith Budner and Carrie Pichan will be leading a program this summer to Alcalá de Henares. This traditional Spanish city offers you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local town and university culture, in addition to its location just 30-minutes by public transport from the bustling metropolitan city of Madrid. While studying in Alcalá de Henares you will have the opportunity to visit sites in Madrid rooted in the literature, history, art, food, and language you are learning about in your classes.

Attend an in-person info session with the faculty directors to learn more about studying abroad in Spain this summer!

For students who prefer to attend via Zoom, you can register online.
