May 7, 2022

10:30 am - 12:00 pm

At Chicago Humanities Festival, join a group of UIC scholars and activists for a panel discussion on their groundbreaking research into racialized policing and surveillance in Chicago. These experts discuss their current projects exploring the role of surveillance in conversations around public health and safety, how to reduce police violence and criminalization of communities of color, expanded definitions of sanctuary cities, and more. Join them for a conversation about how the public can address systemic injustice, and what public safety for all could look like in Chicago and beyond.
