Adam Green, associate professor in American History, University of Chicago. Professor Green’s research focuses on American political history with a special interest in race, culture and social movements. He has published two books: (with Charles Payne) Time Longer than Rope: Studies in African American Activism (New York University Press, 2003) and Selling the Race:Culture and Community in Black Chicago (University of Chicago Press, 2007). Formerly Deputy Dean and Master of the Social Sciences Collegiate Division.
