As campus reopens this summer and fall, and people who have been working or studying at home return to campus, there may be questions about the best way to get here. Over the course of the last year, UIC has worked to implement a number of programs to support COVID-safe commuting and to create as many choices as possible for how to travel to and from campus, and there have been changes across Chicago, too. Presented by Franny Ritchie, Assistant Director for Urban Development, Office of Planning, Sustainability, and Project Management, this webinar will cover the below topics, followed by a Q&A:
- The UIC Value Card – for people who want to drive to work occasionally
- UIC’s carpool partnership with Miles2Share
- Divvy, Metra and CTA improvements and safety protocol (including improved access for people on financial aid!)
- Any other questions you have about resuming your transit commute or trying something new in the reopening phase
Registrants will be sent the calendar invite with the zoom link.
