Please join the UIC School of Public Health’s Global Health Program for our monthly Global Health Program Speaker Series. The speaker for January will be Dr. Juan Pablo Peña-Rosas, head of global health initiatives in the Department of Nutrition and Food Safety at the World Health Organization. Dr. Peña-Rosas will be presenting on the normative work of the WHO and its evolving challenges.
Dr. Peña-Rosas will be participating virtually. There will be an in-person viewing of his presentation in the UIC School of Public Health (SPH-PI) Room 732, as well as a virtual viewing on Zoom. All UIC students, faculty, staff and the general public are welcome to attend.
