SparkTalks, UIC’s take on faculty lightning talks, will be held following each of the upcoming U of I Board of Trustees meetings in Chicago, and will provide an opportunity for faculty, leaders and others across campus an opportunity to learn about the exciting activity happening in every corner of UIC.
Through this exciting new series, SparkTalks, UIC is igniting the thoughts and solutions of influential UIC changemakers to inspire and create a better world, and fostering collaboration and idea exchange among our faculty across all colleges.
Each event will consist of two hours of concise three-minute lightning talks from each of the 36 faculty presenters who will present their work to U of I system and UIC leadership, members of the UIC campus community, and their peers, after which a reception will be held for those in attendance.
