Cheer on the Pyro Paddlers — UIC’s dragon boat team — Saturday during the St. Charles Festival of the Fox Dragon Boat Race. The opening ceremony begins at 8 a.m., and races start at 8:30 a.m.
During the competition, teams will race head-to-head in elimination rounds. UIC’s team includes students, staff, faculty and alumni. Admission and parking for Saturday’s event are free.
