The Real History of Thanksgiving: Honoring Native American Identities and Cultures

Join UIC’s Native American Support Program as we open Native American Heritage Month with a presentation and discussion focused on generating ideas for local action. Hayley Negrin, PhD, assistant professor of history and Native American and early American history specialist, will lead the presentation. The discussion will be co-facilitated by Angela Walden, PhD, special advisor on Native sttudents.
