Join the Arab American Cultural Center in celebrations of Eid with Eid food items from across the region. Eid in Arabic means festival or holiday. Families across the Arab region spend Eid with each other, being grateful for good health and enjoying good food and each other’s company. April this year holds Eid El-Fitr عيد الفطر at the end of Ramadan.

The Arab American Cultural Center is organizing a series of events, including this event, to celebrate Arab American Heritage Month during April. The state of Illinois designated April as Arab American Heritage Month in 2018, and the U.S. Department of State recognized it nationally in 2021. During April, Arabs and Arab Americans are honored and celebrated for their historical contributions, culture, traditions, history, arts and overall social presence as a community in the United States.
