Join UIC’s Disability Cultural Center for a production of William Shakespeare’s “Richard III,”performed by Chicago’s Babes With Blades Theatre Company and directed by Richard Costes.

For the past year, the UIC DCC has been part of a collaboration with the Department of Theatre, Bodies of Work, and BWBTC– it’s called Making Inclusive Theatre, and we’re exploring what it means to create inclusive, disability-informed theatre, especially with a play whose main character is famously disabled. The performances are finally here, we got a bunch of tickets, and we hope you can join!

The show is at The Edge Theatre in Edgewater (near Bryn Mawr and Broadway).
  • Touch tour (optional) at 2:30 p.m.
  • Show at 3 p.m.
  • 5:30 p.m. post-show discussion with UIC’s Making Inclusive Theatre project.
