The UIC Global Health Colloquium is a lecture series co-sponsored by the colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Applied Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Dentistry, and Social Work and the School of Public Health.

In recognition of World Health Day, please join us Wednesday, April 5, at noon, for April’s Colloquium. The speaker will be Barry S. Levy, MD, MPH. Dr.  Levy is the past president of the American Public Health Association, adjunct professor at Tufts University School of Medicine, and author of the book, “From Horror to Hope: Recognizing and Preventing the Health Impacts of War.” Dr. Levy will be presenting on the impact of war on health, human rights, and the environment.

The event is free and open to all. Registration required.
