Study Abroad — UIC Spanish Culture through Food, Language, Literature, and Art Info Session

Join this informational session to learn more about the summer Spanish Culture through Food, Language, Literature, and Art 2023 Faculty-Directed program. We welcome UIC students taking upper-level Spanish courses as well as those still learning the language. Students will have the opportunity to complete general education requirements through an interdisciplinary food, literature and culture course and the Basic Language Track or take a deep dive into linguistics and literature with 200 and 300 upper-level courses towards their major/ minor. Socio-cultural excursions in and around Madrid will give you insight into the historical and modern-day influences on Spanish culture. Your studies will culminate in a capstone trip to Andalucía (Córdoba and Granada).
