UIC SPH Global Health Speaker Series: Cholera Outbreak in Haiti

Please join the UIC School of Public Health’s Global Health Program for our monthly Global Health Speaker Series. The speakers for January are Dr. Kristen Heitzinger, epidemiologist in the Waterborne Disease Prevention Branch at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and Dr. Anne-Marie Desormeaux, public health specialist and branch chief for Global Health Security at the CDC Haiti Country Office. Drs. Heitzinger and Desormeaux will be speaking on the cholera outbreak in Haiti from September 2022 to January 2023. All UIC students, faculty, staff and the general public are welcome to attend.
