UIC SPH Global Health Speaker Series: Netsanet Belete, PhD

Please join the UIC School of Public Health’s Global Health Program for our monthly Global Health Speaker Series. The speaker for this month is Netsanet Belete, PhD.

Belete is a public health specialist in the Ethiopian Ministry of Health. Belete will be presenting on maternal and child health in Ethiopia. All UIC students, faculty, staff and the general public are welcome to attend.

Belete is a seasoned public health specialist with over 11 years of professional experience within the Ethiopian health care system. Her expertise encompasses both administrative and research roles, and she has a wealth of national and international experience. Belete is particularly dedicated to maternal and newborn health initiatives and has been actively involved in these areas throughout her career.
