Biography
Glen Schumock is a licensed pharmacist, a researcher and a professor of pharmacy systems, outcomes and policy. As dean of the UIC College of Pharmacy, he leads one of the top-ranked and largest pharmacy colleges in the United States. He is knowledgeable of issues related to pharmacy education, the practice of pharmacy and trends in pharmacy training and the pharmacy workforce.
Schumock’s research is in pharmacoeconomics and pharmacoepidemiology. He has studied the cost and economic impact of prescription medications and the safety of pharmaceuticals and related services or policies.
