Dr. Jose De La Cruz is a leader in the use of the latest surgical techniques for complex vision problems, such as bladeless laser-assisted eye surgery. His expertise includes refractive surgery (Lasik), laser-assisted cataract surgery and artificial cornea implant.
At the UI Health, he established the ophthalmology department at UI Health as the top cornea service in the Midwest and one of the top five worldwide.
