Clinical professor of psychiatry and nursing
Dr. Julie Carbray is clinical professor of psychiatry and nursing at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Her teaching and research interests focus on psychopharmacology and therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents with mood disorders; the neurobiology of mood disorders; detecting depression in minority youth; and family responses to childhood mood disorders.
Carbray has been a consultant to the Chicago Police Department to develop training curricula for officers responding to situations involving children and adolescents with mental illness.
