Biography
Krista Varady’s research focuses on the safety and efficacy of intermittent fasting. She has published more than 100 papers that demonstrate intermittent fasting’s ability to help people lose weight and reduce their risk of diseases such as Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
Additionally, her work has established that fasting, also known as time-restricted eating, does not cause problematic side effects such as changes in sex hormones or lead to eating disorders.
Varady is also the author of two books for the general public, entitled “Every Other Day Diet” and “The Fastest Diet.”
