Robert Sloan

Biography

Robert Sloan is professor and head of computer science in the UIC College of Engineering. His current research interests are split between public policy and law for security and privacy and artificial intelligence. He is co-author of the book “Unauthorized Access: The Crisis in Online Privacy and Security” (CRC Press, 2013). Sloan is a member of the Department of Homeland Security’s Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee.
