Steven Schwinn is a frequent commenter on issues related to constitutional law and human rights. He is the editor of the American Constitution Society Supreme Court Review, an annual publication reviewing cases and issues at the Supreme Court, and co-founder and co-editor of the Constitutional Law Prof Blog. Schwinn is a regular contributor to the American Bar Association Preview of United States Supreme Court Cases, and his legal scholarship on the court and related topics has appeared in a variety of legal journals.
In the community, Schwinn litigates cases pro bono in the federal courts and works with Chicago-area school teachers, students and nonprofits on outreach and public education related to the U.S. Constitution. He also serves on the board of advisers for the Chicago Lawyers Chapter of the American Constitution Society and the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Public Education.
