Free lab glassware, equipment at LabShare Fest Aug. 4

Surplus from College of Medicine labs will be available free to UIC researchers, students and staff.

 

UIC researchers, students, faculty and staff can save money, and the environment, at LabShare Fest Aug. 4.

The Office of Sustainability will offer free lab glassware and equipment collected from College of Medicine labs at the event, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Moss Auditorium lobby, College of Medicine Research Building.

This includes serological pipettes, Erlenmyer flasks, beakers, graduated cylinders, test tubes, slide boxes and culture plates and grids.

Lab supplies and glassware can be donated throughout the year for LabShare. To donate, fill out a UIC Free Store Donation Form for laboratory supplies.

Researchers can also pick up supplies year-round in the LabShare storeroom in the Paulina Street Building, 1140 S. Paulina St. Call 312-413-9816 for more information.
