Hall of Fame honors 11 entrepreneurs
The University of Illinois at Chicago’s Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies will induct 11 new members into the Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame at its 28th anniversary gala celebration on March 14 at the Hilton Chicago, 720 S. Michigan Ave., at 5:30 p.m.
Inductees are recognized for their entrepreneurial achievements and making a lasting impact on Chicago’s business landscape (Editors: see list.)
“This new crop of inductees is further proof that even in the toughest times, through hard work, creativity and dedication, you can succeed in business,” says Michael Mikhail, dean of the UIC College of Business Administration. “On behalf of the college, I congratulate the Class of 2013.”
Gary Rabine, CEO of Rabine Group in Schaumburg, Ill., will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Hall of Fame recognizes innovative business leaders in the Chicago area. Each year, it inducts prominent entrepreneurs who have demonstrated the entrepreneurial spirit and business talent by founding or growing their respective business. The Hall of Fame encourages business leaders, students and government officials to honor the entrepreneurial spirit and business excellence.

The UIC College of Business Administration is a research-based institution located in the heart of Chicago that cultivates a spirit of entrepreneurship through real-world experience.
