I am UIC: Stay-at-home spring break activities

Aerial view of the skyline at sunset from east side.Spring break is right around the corner. For some, this means eagerly packing bags, hopping on a plane, and lying on a beautiful beach somewhere far away. For others, a mini-vacation is not in the books.

If your spring break plans include staying home, that is not a problem. There are several activities in the city that can help keep your mind off things and enjoy quality time with your family and friends. You can be a tourist in your own city and visit the Willis Tower Skydeck, Millennium Park, Cloud Gate, the Field Museum, the Museum of Science and Industry, Adler Planetarium, etc., or you can also try out something different and new.
