Minority health conference targets health disparities

WHAT:
The Minority Health in the Midwest Conference is a day-long event featuring talks from prominent health leaders, workshop sessions, and poster presentations from students and professionals.

The conference provides a forum for community leaders and researchers to work together toward eliminating health disparities in underserved populations and communities of color.

The fifth annual Minority Health in the Midwest Conference is organized by Minority Students for the Advancement of Public Health, in collaboration with the Urban Health and Diversity Program and the UIC School of Public Health. The conference is held in conjunction with the minority health conference hosted by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
