The Morgan Street Bridge and CTA Blue Line Station are scheduled to be closed from 8 p.m. Aug. 15 to 4 a.m. Aug. 18 as the Circle Interchange reconstruction continues. Congress Parkway will be blocked from Racine to Morgan streets, but the Harrison Street parking structure and Lot 11 will be open.

The CTA Blue Line stations at Halsted Street and Racine Avenue remain open.

The eastbound traffic lane on Van Buren Street between Peoria and Halsted streets is expected to reopen Aug. 22.

The westbound lanes of Harrison Street west of Halsted Street are scheduled to be closed for several weeks, beginning Aug. 25, as workers relocate water mains at the Harrison-Halsted intersection.

The Illinois Department of Transportation’s $475 million renovation of the Circle Interchange — a complex connection that links the Dan Ryan Expressway to the south, Eisenhower Expressway to the west, Congress Parkway to the east and Kennedy Expressway to the north — began last fall and is expected to last at least four years.
