Open House offers a UIC welcome

More than 5,000 visitors, including nearly 2,000 prospective students, came to campus Saturday for UIC’s Open House, the annual showcase for academic programs and student life.

Besides sessions on admissions and financial aid, there were guided tours of campus and residence halls and talks by faculty members to give a taste of campus life. More than 100 partners, including academic programs, all colleges, student organizations, orientation and community members participated.
