Police search for armed robbery suspects
Two UIC students were the victims of an off-campus armed robbery at 10:50 p.m. Jan. 30 in the 1100 block of South Loomis Street.
Three men, one carrying a handgun, approached the students and demanded their belongings. The students gave the men their possessions and were not injured.
The men fled south on Loomis to a maroon vehicle, driving east on Crenshaw Street.
The first suspect was a black male, 21 years old, 5-feet-9 inches and 140 pounds. He wore a maroon hoodie, had hair in short braids and carried a handgun.
Another suspect was a black male, 17 to 19 years old, 5-feet-4 inches and 120 pounds. He wore a red hoodie.
The third suspect, who wore a green and light gray hoodie, was 19 to 20 years old, 5-feet-6 inches and 130 pounds.

Jan. 29: A man was arrested for DUI at 3:03 a.m. at 1540 W. Roosevelt Road.
Feb. 1: A man was arrested for criminal trespass at 10:32 p.m. at the UIC Pavilion.
A man was arrested for DUI at 1:02 p.m. at 1100 S. Damen Ave.
A man was arrested on a warrant at 1:43 p.m. at the hospital.
Feb. 2: A man was arrested for battery at 1:33 a. m. at 723 W. Maxwell St.
Feb. 3: A man was arrested for an Illinois Vehicle Code violation at 4:08 a.m. at 1157 S. Union Ave.
A man was arrested for criminal trespass at 9:30 p.m. at 1259 W. Taylor St.
