SATURDAY: Children’s Hospital Hosts Free Back-to-School Health Fair

WHAT:
Children’s Hospital University of Illinois will host a free back-to-school health fair offering school physicals, vision screenings and health counseling.

Parents are asked to bring their child’s immunization record to the health fair.

Kids who participate in the fair will receive free school supplies (as long as they last). A magician and face painter will provide entertainment.

Families will also receive health education materials and access to community resources.

9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Outpatient Care Center, 1801 W. Taylor St.
First floor lobby and Ste. 2E

WHO:
Pediatricians will be available to provide back-to-school health and safety tips.

DETAILS:
Children’s Hospital University of Illinois is a 101-bed pediatric hospital located within the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System to provide general and pediatric subspecialty care to children throughout the state.

The hospital includes 10 centers of excellence and is comprised of 24 pediatric medical-surgical beds, 12 pediatric intensive care beds, 10 pediatric step-down beds, and a 55-bed neonatal intensive care unit.
