Christy Levy, associate copy editor and writer

Christy Levy received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she was a reporter for the Daily Illini student newspaper.

Before joining UIC in 2007, she was a copy editor and page designer for the Northwest Herald and a reporter for Lakeland Media’s 11 community newspapers in the northern suburbs. She previously interned at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and she was a Dow Jones News Fund editing intern at the Erie Times-News in Erie, Pennsylvania.
