It’s late at night and as your fingers turn a page in the textbook, you can hear the growls of your stomach. Late-night studying requires energy, so why not order some food or take a break at a diner? Here’s a list of late-night eating options.


White Palace Grill

Who doesn’t enjoy a classic American diner that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner at all hours of the day? 1159 S. Canal St, 312-939-7167


Jim’s Original

If you haven’t heard a UIC student talk about this 24/7 food stand, you will soon. Jim’s is known for its iconic Maxwell Street Polish Sausage Sandwich. The stand includes other sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers and fries. UIC students receive a free soda with i-card. 1250 S. Union Ave., 312-733-7820


Taco Burrito King

Taylor Made Pizza

There’s an array of pizzas, pastas, salads and hot and cold sandwiches to choose from at this restaurant, which offers dine in, carry out and delivery. Al’s Beef

Here’s an interesting fact: the first storefront location of this chain restaurant opened right here on Taylor Street.
