Announcing College of Medicine Dean Finalists Campus Forums

Dear Faculty, Staff and Students,

It is my pleasure to announce that the search committee for the Dean of the University of Illinois College of Medicine has identified outstanding finalists for the position. I have invited these two candidates to visit the university and interview in Chicago during the month of January.

The candidate names, biographies and evaluation forms will be posted two days in advance of their visit to the search website.

I encourage the campus community to attend the open forums where the candidates will give a brief presentation on their background and their outlook on medical education, research and health care delivery. A portion of the open forums will be reserved for questions. After each open forum, you are invited to attend a light reception with the candidate.

PLEASE NOTE: arrangements will be made for the College of Medicine campus communities in Rockford, Peoria and Urbana to gather on their respective campus and participate virtually in the candidate forums. Detailed information will be distributed to these campuses as each candidate is announced.

CANDIDATE 1: Monday, January 14, 2019
