Communication Skills for non-native English speakers

The UIC Tutorium in Intensive English is offering the following course to help non-native English speakers improve their conversation and communication skills:

Communication Skills

This 10-week course is for high-intermediate to advanced English language learners who want to improve their speaking skills in social, academic and professional settings.  You will learn techniques for improving your pronunciation and strategies for effectively communicating information and opinions. You will practice key vocabulary and American idiomatic expressions to help you feel more confident in social and professional speaking situations.

This course meets on Saturdays, 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.; tuition: $575. ($550 for UIC community).
