Conducting health research in a changing funding climate

This event, hosted by the School of Public Health’s Committee on Research, will be an opportunity for facilitated discussion with colleagues and peers about challenges and emerging best practices for conducting health research in the current funding climate. We will have small breakout group discussions focused on specific topics such as new funding applications, reporting and compliance, public-facing communications about existing research projects, career planning for early career and students, career planning for mid-to-later career. Afterward, we will reconvene to hear brief summaries of discussion from each small group and discuss takeaways.
