Please join us for a conversation with Maha Hilal, scholar, organizer and author of “Innocent Until Proven Muslim: Islamophobia, the War on Terror, and the Muslim Experience Since 9/11” (Broadleaf Book 2022).

Discussants:
Celine Qussiny is a Palestinian, Muslim community organizer with the Palestinian Youth
Movement, based out of Southern California.

Maryam Kashani is an assistant professor in gender and women’s studies and Asian American
studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and author of the forthcoming book, “Medina by the Bay” (under contract with Duke University Press).
