Laser Cutter Demo – UIC Library Digital Scholarship Hub

Join us at the Richard J. Daley Library, Digital Scholarship Hub (1st Floor), Room 1-461 on Tues., Sept. 28 at 1 p.m. for a tour of the Hub facility and learn to use the laser cutter that is available to all UIC students, faculty and staff.

Laser cutting is a technology that uses a laser to slice materials. Laser cutting works by directing the output of a high-power laser most commonly through optics.

Please note: Capacity is limited inside the Hub and demo will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. UIC community members only. Green Healthcheck and masks required for entry.
