The UIC CHANCE Program cordially invites our university students, faculty and staff to join us Thursday, March 3, (5-6 p.m.) for our special Mental Health & Wellness Forum featuring our very own Dr. Belva Miles, psychologist, UIC Counseling Center.
For the past three weeks, CHANCE and other UIC students have engaged in our (virtual) Mental Health & Wellness Workshop via Blackboard Learn. Within this workshop, we have researched, reviewed and discussed the impact of stress, anxiety, coping mechanisms as well as how to deal and balance challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic (and other issues). Prior to concluding our workshop (this weekend) we will gather with Dr. Miles for some personal SELF-CARE tips and much more.
If you have been feeling a little down and out, tired of coping with this pandemic and/or if your grades dropped over the past semester, feel free to join us as we gather to discuss your next steps toward a brighter day. The CHANCE Program is thrilled to host this Mental Health & Wellness Forum via Zoom where you can get the opportunity to chat with an expert on this subject matter.
Feel free to bring a friend.
If you have additional questions please contact us: chance@uic.edu or call 312-355-5025.
