The UIC Tutorium in Intensive English is offering the following 5-week online courses to help non-native English speakers improve their writing and grammar skills:

Online Grammar

This 5-week course focuses on producing clear, error-free writing at the Intermediate to Advanced level. Instructors guide students through advanced grammar review, writing sample analysis, and development of effective self-editing techniques. Within the course schedule, students are able to work at their own pace and set their own deadline, with regular weekly feedback from the instructor. If you plan to take both of our online writing courses, we recommend taking this one first.
This course meets 100% online with flexible schedule; tuition: $350.

Online Writing and Composing

This 5-week course focuses on how to produce concise, clear writing at the Intermediate to Advanced level. Students learn techniques for starting a writing project, working with outlines, creating clear coherent paragraphs, crafting introduction and conclusion paragraphs, and adding concrete details. Within the course schedule, students are able to work at their own pace and set their own deadlines, with regular weekly feedback from the instructor.
This course meets 100% online with flexible schedule; tuition: $350.
