Short Reads Book Club at the Women’s Leadership and Resource Center

Are you pressed for time this semester but want to explore short-form literature? In partnership with the Centers for Cultural Understanding and Social Change, the University Library is launching the Short Reads Club to introduce thought-provoking works that lead to discussion around significant cultural and lived experiences of various identity groups.

You’re invited to the second event in this new series:

Nov. 7, noon-1 p.m. at the Women’s Leadership and Resource Center, 1200 W. Harrison, 1700 SSB

We will read selections from the foundational women of color feminist text, “This Bridge Called My Back – Writings by Radical Women of Color,” edited by Cherríe Moraga and Gloria Anzaldúa.
