Following her keynote lecture commemorating the Women’s Leadership and Resource Center and Campus Advocacy Network‘s 30th anniversary, Dr. Jennifer Freyd will join us for a virtual discussion with UIC graduate students about her work and how to be advocates for institutional change.

We encourage participants to attend Dr. Freyd’s lecture and read “Still Second Class: Sexual Harassment of Graduate Students” (Rosenthal, Smidt, and Freyd 2016) and “When Sexual Assault Victims Speak Out, Their Institutions Often Betray Them” (The Conversation, 2018) to prepare for the seminar.

All UIC graduate students are invited.
