Times are changing

It’s almost time for graduation!

There are so many changes coming up! In less than two weeks I will be graduating from UIC with my BA in applied psychology and my minor in sociology. It has truly been an exceptional experience.  I am so excited to get my bachelor’s degree and then move on to graduate school this fall. I will no longer be an undergrad, and I must admit I’m really looking forward to being called a grad student.

Soon, it will be time to say goodbye…no, not goodbye – see you later – to UIC. I will officially be a UIC alumna!  It will be time for a change, and it will be time to adjust to a different program and a new school.  Although I don’t think any other school in Chicago has a building like BSB so hopefully I won’t get lost.  After grad school it will be time to adjust to a new state. I’m Alaska bound! Yes, you read that correctly – ALASKA!

All these changes make me realize all the things that I was able to experience at UIC and reflect on those experiences. I made new friends, met some amazing professors, and was able to get involved in different clubs and activities. After being in the military for 10 years, I finally had my college experience.
